We blog for many reasons. Originally, I started my blog the end of 2009 as a content creator.
But as time passed on, I realized that my blog provided much more than an author system and it wasn't all about the numbers. Writing a blog served a different more profound purpose. I would even say that actually changed how I look at and live my life.
That's why if you're considering to create a blog, I'd encourage you to start in earnest. That is, if you are actually blogging for the right reasons.
Should you be starting a blog to get abundant money, well, avoid counting on it. Making money with a blog is ultra hard these days. In fact, after three years, I was still not making money from my blog. Writing and promoting a blog is a ton of work. There is nothing recurring regarding it.
In fact, it is actually so easy to get frustrated when you first begin a blog. As a technically-challenged person, I experienced to learn WordPress. In that case, I spent considerable time promoting my blog aiming to find an audience. Something more important I knew little about. Just like most bloggers, I actually and quickly became obsessed and depressed with the number of targeted visitors, potential customers, and followers on facebook that I had developed in any given day. Building up readership for a blog takes a great deal of time, hardwork, and endurance.
Why Do You Just Blog?
Some people may argue with me, but I actually think blogging shouldn't just be about earning profits, licking up business, gathering a huge following, chasing celebrity, or trying to sell books.
Blogging can provide a creative route to voice ideas, thoughts, opinions, beliefs, and thoughts. Additionally, writing a blog gives a wonderful possibility to stimulate and touch the lives of other people in a positive way.
Just How Blogging Changed My Entire Life
My personal blog has certainly seen me through many ups and downs a few years ago. I've written about joyful occasions like a trip to a town with my family to celebrate my birthday, a day spent playing at the waterfalls with my children, and going for an easy weekend trip with my children to a Chinese Recreational Centre.
I once went through some challenges with my personal health which affected my life in all ramifications of life. As a result of this, I lost my courage because of the frustration I encountered. This inspired me to start writing in order to keep myself busy. Eventually, I grew up fantastically with the writing skills and passion. I enjoy reading, which provides a welcome respite from my troubles, but writing is my real escape, wall socket, and passion. When my spouse and I write, I become so focused, my problems reduced drastically for a while, offering me an essential break. In fact, if you're the writer, believe me, this can be a life-long addiction!
The process of putting my thoughts and feelings into writing has brought me comfort as well as help me relive happy occasions.
As I've published some articles about my life, the blog has really helped me think about what's important to me and determine whether my life is headed the right way.
Since I actually can't reveal every event, idea, thought, and being, blogging gives a sort of filter, clarifying warring. My personal websites have allowed myself to understand what is most meaningful to my opinion. We've uncovered along the way that sometimes, it's the simplest occasion that makes me the happiest.
Adopting Creativity:
As a competent writer, my blog brings creative and wonderful flexibility to convey myself. Not to pop anyone's balloon, but writing sounds more gorgeous than it is in reality. For almost all of the past 25 years, I have written articles on topics that magazines, newspapers, marketers, and clients assign to me.
Actually, I've written two young adult catalogs, humorous items, travel articles, and feature stories on fascinating people that were fun.
On the other hand, in order to make a living, I have also published articles that bored me to weeping. I've tackled technical articles and one technological book that offered me an Excedrin frustration and drove me nut products. I've written on demand, meeting other people's deadlines, writing late into the night as my brain is desperately trying to call it up ceases.
Don't get me incorrect. I may sound whiny, but I fully realize that I'm darn blessed to have made a living at something I enjoy. I wouldn't have experienced it any other way.
The point is, my blog is my baby. I write on topics I'm enthusiastic about and feel passionate about it and expect that my audience will enjoy it as well. My blog allows me to extend as a writer, explore, experiment, and try new things whenever the day job hits.
Writing professionally or competently has given me the self-discipline to publish a blog every week.
Thus, those are some of many ways through which blogging has changed my life. On the other hand, as I mentioned before, the huge bonus is the fact that blogging can change other people's lives as well.
Some people have remaining comments allowing me to know that we have, in some small ways, inspired them or provided useful information which always brings me such joy. Writing a blog has provided a possibility to hook up with readers and other bloggers, which has been so profitable.
